CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES AT ICES EDUCATION

Band Instructor | Wind, Brass, String and Percussion – MUSD ONLY

Love working with children? We are looking for individuals to teach band (wind, percussion, string and/or brass instruments) to students attending our after school programs across Montebello Unified School District. Applicants must have a high school diploma and have 48 college credits or take an instructional aide test. Must be available to work from 2pm – 6pm Monday through Friday. We are looking for someone who lives in the Montebello area or relatively close.


Program Leader – Part Time Position (2017 | 2018 School Year) – AVALON SCHOOL ONLY
Program Leaders enhance the after school learning experience by administering engaging lessons that align with the classroom curriculum. Program Leaders are responsible for helping to maintain a safe and clean site, a high level of program quality and helps students develop and strengthen their academic, physical and social skills by providing assistance and tutoring to students in the after school program. Program leaders will be responsible for homework assistance, club programming (i.e. sports, art, drama, cooking, music, dance, etc.), and enrichment for designated groups of up to twenty students. This position pays $15.00 hourly.


Program Leader – Part Time Position (2017 | 2018 School Year) – LBUSD ONLY

Program Leaders enhance the after school learning experience by administering engaging lessons that align with the classroom curriculum. Program Leaders are responsible for helping to maintain a safe and clean site, a high level of program quality and helps students develop and strengthen their academic, physical and social skills by providing assistance and tutoring to students in the after school program. Program leaders will be responsible for homework assistance, club programming (i.e. sports, art, drama, cooking, music, dance, etc.), and enrichment for designated groups of up to twenty students.


Program Leader – Part Time Position (2017 | 2018 School Year) – SDUSD ONLY

Program Leaders enhance the after school learning experience by administering engaging lessons that align with the classroom curriculum. Program Leaders are responsible for helping to maintain a safe and clean site, a high level of program quality and helps students develop and strengthen their academic, physical and social skills by providing assistance and tutoring to students in the after school program. Program leaders will be responsible for homework assistance, club programming (i.e. sports, art, drama, cooking, music, dance, etc.), and enrichment for designated groups of up to twenty students.


Sports Coach – Part Time Position (2017 | 2018 School Year)

We are looking for individuals to coach basketball, soccer and flag football to students attending our afterschool programs across Montebello Unified School District. Applicants must have a high school diploma and have 48 college credits or take an instructional aide test. Must be available to work from 2pm – 6pm Monday through Friday.


Substitute Program Leader – Part Time Position (2017 | 2018 School Year)

Substitute Program Leaders may work at different sites throughout our various districts. Substitutes will receive their assignments based on their availability. A Substitute Program Leader will be called upon to fill-in for a needed assignment. Substitute Program Leaders work directly with an assigned class of approximately 20 students, acting as a positive adult role model, coach and mentor.
